Elizabeth Wing, a sophomore student at Munising Middle/High School, has been chosen as this week’s Student of the Week. She is the daughter of Tracy and Bob Wing. Mr. Burtis chose Elizabeth and stated, ‘Elizabeth is one of the hardest-working students in the district. She puts total effort into all of the many extracurricular activities she is in along with her schoolwork. Elizabeth is an excellent student and an overall great person.’ Elizabeth plays basketball, volleyball, runs cross country and track, has been in dance for 11 yrs, and officiates soccer. Along with her many sporting activities, she is in Key Club, president of her class in Student Council, VP of Youth in Government, President of of the Tribal Youth Council, is in 4-H, yearbook, forensics, and sits on the board of The Youth Advisory Council and The Sex Education Advisory Board. After graduating high school, Elizabeth plans to attend college and pursue a degree in the medical field. Congratulations to Elizabeth and her parents Keep up the great work.
