Lakeside Resort back in business

Camel Riders Lakeside Resort is back in business and now accepting reservations for its lakeside cabins through Airbnb. The new owners say they’ve been overwhelmed by the community’s support and are excited to welcome guests to the property on the Corner Lake Chain of Lakes.

The resort has sparked plenty of questions — especially about the fate of its restaurant. According to a Facebook post, the answer is yes: The restaurant will return. However, the building was converted into a cabin after the original restaurant closed, and bringing it back will require significant renovations.

For booking information, Camel Riders Lakeside Resort is on Facebook.
