Munising School Public Library notes

North Shore Needles, the library knit and stitch group will start meeting again at the library on Fridays at 10 am. Bring your knitting, crochet work, embroidery or whichever needle project you are working on and join in on the conversation. The library carries Interweave Knits Magazine and has numerous other resources to help you grow as a needle artist if you are just starting out. Don’t forget that the library also needs donated items for the Mitten and Hat Tree in December—a perfect opportunity to use your needle skills.

TaleSpinners Storytime meets on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. for preschool aged children and their caregivers. Stories, songs and a simple craft will be our format for this 25 to 30-minute program and we look forward to you and your little one joining us. “Senior’s Coffee & Tech Help” is exactly what it sounds like–seniors, bring in your device(s) and we’ll show you the basics of getting online, managing your files and organizing and sending your photos. We will help troubleshoot minor tech related issues, answer tech questions to the best of our ability, and show you the products and services available from the library for your device. Senior’s Coffee & Tech Help meets at the library on 3rd Thursdays at 10 am. Our next get together is Nov. 17.

AlgerReads, the Munising Library book club will meet on Tues., Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. to discuss Phillip Caputo’s acclaimed book Hunter’s Moon.
