Superior Central alum Parker Maki added plate support in the Bay College Norse baseball team’s recent series with Delta College April 13-15, when the Norse took two of five from the Pioneers. It was the first collegiate baseball series of the year in the Upper Peninsula.

Maki had four runs, two stolen bases and two RBIs for Bay College in four games over the weekend. He also pitched in relief once.

The sophomore improved his average for the season to .261, which is slightly better than the team average. Maki is one of eight U.P. natives on the roster.

In what has been a slow start for the Norse, Bay College sits at 5-21 for the 2023 campaign. The Norse will travel to Alpena Community College this weekend.
