Summer reading program has come to a close and we aregearing up for fall! I love this season and am looking forward to cooler weather, fall campfires, apple pressing and the smell of leaves. Snuggling up with books season has begun!
Library Walking Club: meets at 8 a.m. on Wednesdays. Meet in the library parking lot. We take a nice 40-minute walk and return to the library parking lot.
Book Club Sat. Sept. 16 at 10 a.m.: Our first book will be “Anatomy of a Murder” by Robert Traver. All are welcome, there is no need to have attended previous meetings; we discuss the entire book each month.
Munising Book Drop Dates For September: Sept. 6 and 20. Every month we receive titles from Munising School Public Library that are on loan to us for several months. Come check out our MSPL book shelf.
First Saturday Crafts: On Saturday Oct. 7 and Oct. 14 there will be a two-part crafting project with Himmeli reed grass crafts. The first weekend will be spent drying and preparing the grass with the second week completing the other projects. First Saturday craft weekends will go from October through May.
As always, black-and-white copies are available for 25 cents. Free wifi and computer access is also available.
