Sacred Heart bazaar Saturday
Sacred Heart Church will host a holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. – 1p.m. at LaMothe Hall on Elm Avenue. The event will have raffles, crafts and more to start holiday shopping in the area.
Rock River Harvest Fest Saturday
The second annual Rock River Township Community Harvest Fest is Saturday, Nov. 4 from 3-6 p.m. at the Rock River Township Hall. A shared meal will take place with people asking to bring a side to share and non-perishable food items for Nifty Thrifty.
Daylight Savings Time ends
Daylight Savings Time will end on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 a.m.. This means that everyone will “gain” an hour at 2 a.m., so enjoy the extra hour.
Ski Hill work bee Sunday
Hiawatha Slopes, also known as the Chatham Ski Hill will have a work bee for volunteers on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m.. The bee will help get the hill ready for the winter season.
Support group continues
Facing the Mourning, an interactive community support group, will continue in a four-week workshop to help those going through the grieving process. Remaining days are on Tuesdays Nov. 7, 14 and 21 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church.
Munising fall yard waste pickup extended
The City of Munising has extended fall yard waste pick up through Thursday, Nov. 9. This decision was made due to late start of many fall related activities.
