Today is the last day to visit the library’s annual Holiday Book ‘Sale.’ The library book ‘sale’ has something for everyone and the price is right because nothing is priced and the ‘sale’ is by donation only; give what you can, if you can.
The deadline for recipe submissions to the “Battle of the Recipe Box” cookoff contest is this coming Sunday, Dec. 31. Those interested in participating will need to complete the submission form found on the website under events or drop a copy off at the library and include their favorite original recipe along with a paragraph or two as to why this recipe is special. Voting begins on Jan. 10 and runs through Jan. 31. The top five vote getters will create their dishes for a taste off on Sat. Feb. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Munising Library.
