Vietnam Veterans of Alger County Chapter 237 finished cleaning the All-Vets Memorial, which is now ready for the Memorial Day Celebration. We want to thank all those who helped with the spring cleaning. Each year at this time, Chapter 237 goes down to Bay Shore Park and completes this project. Our next project will be the Munising Volunteer Fire Department Trout and Salmon Classic on May 18 at the American Legion. We’ll be cooking the fish with our traveling fryers. These are the same fryers we use at Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette, where we cook fish for them on the last Friday of July.
