Hospital earns leadership award for excellence
Munising Memorial Hospital has been awarded the 2024 Performance Leadership Award for Excellence in Quality by the Chartis Center for Rural Health. The award recognizes hospitals that perform in the top 25th percentile for quality, outcomes and/or patient perspective among rural hospitals.
“It is an honor to be ranked in the top 25th percentile of critical access hospitals nationwide for the quality of care that we provide,” Munising Memorial Hospital CEO Jim Parker said. “Our nursing team, medical staff and clinical employee team all contributed to this excellent outcome. Providing the highest quality care to the patients of Munising Memorial Hospital is one of our most important strategic priorities.”
Chief Nursing Officer Christi Salo added, “We are proud that our clinical team provides the best possible care to the patients we serve. This award is a reflection of their dedication and hard work.”
