Hillside Party Store, located at 1201 W. State Highway M-28 in Munising, is collecting cans to support the MPacks program at both Mather Elementary and Munising Middle/High School.

At the elementary school, MPacks provides backpacks filled with two breakfast items, two dinner items, snacks and drinks for students in need to take home over weekends and school breaks.

At the middle/high school, donations help stock the student food pantry, which is open to all students and includes items such as fruit, yogurt, drinks, granola bars, cheese sticks and nonperishable foods.
