Update and Clarifications on Rock River Township Board

Three members of the Rock River Township Board abruptly resigned at the regular meeting of the Township Board on April 16, 2024. Clerk Maria Strand, Treasurer Annie Dunn, and Trustee Trevor Case submitted resignation letters at the meeting, citing concerted and organized harassment, abuse, and false accusations directed at board members. The three detailed personal attacks and confrontation in public venues throughout the Chatham and Rock River area which has repeatedly disrupted board meetings and resulted in unnecessary expense and increased workload for township officials.
