Saturday 5th Annual Bottle Lit Snowshoe
The Gateway loop at the Munising Bike Park will once again be lit up by decorated wine bottles strung in the trees along the trail. Glow sticks will be placed along the trail for the kiddos (see if they can find all of them). Join us for an enchanting snowshoe (conditions will be updated the day of the event). Snowshoes may or may not be required depending on depth of snow and trail conditions. 6:15 – 8:15 p.m. on January 27th.
Timeless at the Barge Inn
Are you ready for some incredible music? Timeless 2024 will be playing at the Barge Inn with special guest, The Exit Mustangs! The music starts at 8:00 p.m. and will last until midnight.
Sunday Silent Book Club
Come and read silently with others at the quietest club in town! Meets Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Falling Rock Café & Bookstore.
Monday 5th Annual Market Walk
Walk to earn tokens to spend on locally grown produce at the Munising Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market. Walk at the Munising Tribal Health Center’s Walking Track upstairs at 615 W. Munising Avenue between 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. on M – F starting on January 29th and going until May 1st or until all available tokens have been distributed.
Tuesday Silent Book Club
Bring a book and relax. Silent reading with the Silent Book Club meets on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Falling Rock Café & Bookstore.
Strive to Thrive for Kids
Strive to Thrive class meets every Tuesday in January and February from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Parks and Rec Gym for 6-12 graders sponsored by AC3. Sign your kids up to get them started on a lifetime of better health!
Family Friendly Trivia Night at Falling Rock
Bring the kids and head on over to Falling Rock Café & Bookstore every other Tuesday 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. for a night of trivia and good company! Remember, Board Game Night will be the following weeks, these two events rotating every Tuesday.

Have you ever dreamed of being on stage? Now’s your chance! The Munising Community Theatre will be meeting on Wednesday, January 31th from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Falling Rock Café & Bookstore. Just show up to take part!
Thursday Women’s Snowshoe Hike
Join the Alger Conservation District and Michigan State University Extension for their 2024 Women in the Woods snowshoe series! Come be a part of a community of women who appreciate the forests around them while getting fresh air and exercise to fight off cabin fever. The first trail of the season will be on Thursday, February 1st, at Valley Spur Cross Country Trail in Munising. The hike lasts from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m..
