Just a reminder, because it is that time of year, if school is closed for a weather event, then the public library is closed as well. The annual Library Used Book “Sale” will take place Dec. 21 – Dec. 30 in the library meeting room. A vast variety of used books will be available. Remember, used books make great gifts and there is sure to be something for everyone!
Calling all knitters, crocheters, and other needle artists! North Shore Needles meets on Fridays at 11 am in the library. Bring your project and show off what you have been working on.
TaleSpinners Storytime will meet on Mon., Dec. 12 at 10:30 a.m. and “Christmas Trees” will be the theme of the program. Jan Malone will be the guest reader so that means there will be plenty of fun! This 25-minute interactive program is for preschool aged children and their caregivers. This and other information can be found on the library website at www.msplonline.org.
Middle and High School aged students are encouraged to come in after school for a 2:45 Club event called “Bling Your Ugly Christmas Sweater” on Tues., Dec 13. Students can bring in a sweater or sweatshirt of their own and use the library’s supplies to create a masterpiece ugly sweater just in time for the holidays.
Senior Citizen Basic Tech Help will take place on Thurs., Dec. 15 at 10 am. Staff will focus on the basics of connecting your device to Wi-Fi and help to answer questions about updates, attaching documents, organizing photos and more. Space is limited, please call to RSVP at 906-387-2125.
