Locals were able to ice skate, play hockey and see unique bubble patterns and ice formations near the mouth of the Anna River in Munising. While there are no records for this type of ice conditions, no locals could remember the last time this style of formation took place on Lake Superior. Similar conditions near the decommissioned ore dock in Downtown Marquette brought thousands of people to the area and was featured in numerous viral videos. Kevin Dunham .
