John Kantola (right) took first place at the inaugural Chatham Chili Cookoff on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Rock River Township Hall in Chatham. His bacon jowl and pole bean chili took first place of 20 entries, with Arch Hendrick (not pictured) and Katie Fink (left) finished second and third as the winners showcased their prizes.
