Micaiah and Josiah Peramaki signed their letters of intent to play football at Michigan Technological University, with their parents Matt and Anne attending the signing. The pair are the first two Munising players to sign with a NCAA Division 2 university since 2014/15 season.

The Peramakis are a legacy family at MTU, with their grandfather attending the school and their father playing for the Huskies.

“This is incredible. The fact that we get to play in the place where our dad did is wonderful,” Micaiah said.

“For us to go as brothers, it shows what our family is about and the work ethic and drive we all have,” Josiah said.
