The Munising community is rallying behind the Munising Mustangs after their regional victory and state quarterfinal win on Tuesday. Signs are up all over town, supporting Munising boys basketball on the team’s first trip to the Breslin Center for the MHSAA semifinals and finals.

Making the trip to East Lansing is expensive for the school, with bus rentals, lodging and meals for the student athletes and staff. To help raise funds, the Munising Booster Club is asking for donations.

“This all happens fast and we are asking the community for donations to help with travel expenses,” the Munising Booster Club said in a statement on their official Facebook page.

Checks made out to the Munising Booster Club can be dropped off at Peoples State Bank in Munising.
