The first major road construction project in western Alger County has begun, with the improvement of ET Road between Tunteri Road and M 94. That stretch of road goes right next to Superior Central Schools.

A flagman will be used as the road will be reduced to one lane during various parts of the project. Speeds should be reduced to 45 mph in the work zone unless otherwise marked. ET Road from M 94 all the way to Trenary is the longest stretch of paved road in Alger County without a posted speed limit sign.
