DDA Director Kathy Reynolds announced at Monday’s meeting of the Munising City Commission that Gateway Properties, Inc. and owner Tom Hall have abandoned plans to tear down and redevelop the former auto dealership property on M-28. The building purchase has seen its share of delays throughout the process, partly to do with the need for state or federal Brownfield redevelopment funding and the numerous associated site studies necessary to be considered for the funds.
