Here in Grand Marais we are Rocking and Rolling quite literally. We just wrapped up our 41st Grand Marais Music & Craft Festival.

Lots of good times were had including dancing in the rain! With a top notch line up of familiar faces as well as some first timers performing, memories were made. Believe it or not we are already getting requests from talent and vendors to sign up for next year. Being a Chamber means moving quickly from one event to the next. September will be bringing the Grand Marais Rock & Mineral Show, September 9th & 10th. This is a special weekend dedicated to all you rock hounds out there that find solace hunting for the ever elusive Agate or the night owls searching for the ever glowing Yooperlite, with the help of the special UV light of course.

We will have vendors set up inside and outside of the Grand Marais Community Center some entertainment and rock solid fun. Come on out and join us, there will be a small admission fee of $4.00 and we are looking forward to seeing you there.

If rocks are not your thing perhaps muscle is, that’s right September 15th brings the Munising Bay Cruisers Classic Car Show to Grand Marais.

This will be a fun filled evening of music, classic cars and food! This years car show will be sponsored by The Grand Marais Tavern and guaranteed to be a blast from the past. Still lots oof fun things coming your way here in Grand Marais!
