Make sure to keep track of what’s happening at your local library this season! There are amazing new books to read and events to attend.
Story Time – Saturday, Dec. 9, 10 a.m. – Story time is back! Rock River Township Library is partnering with Great Start Collaborative to bring Rock River Township a local story time. This will be geared toward preschool aged children, but siblings are welcome to attend.
Book Club – Saturday, Dec. 16, 10 a.m. – Join us for our monthly book club meeting. This month we will be chatting around “He Started It” by Samantha Downing. Bring a warm drink and a friend. A breakfast pastry is provided.
Holiday Wreaths with Rock River Farms Saturday, Dec. 23, 9:30 a.m. – Rock River Farm will be hosing a holiday wreath workshop. Participants will be shown how to make (and go home with) a beautiful holiday wreath. Paying $25 to Jennifer Wood at the library will secure your spot in this class. There are only 10 spots available and sure to fill up fast.
Munising Book Drop Dates – December 13 & 27. Every month we receive titles from Munising School Public Library that are on loan to us for several months. Come check out our MSPL bookshelf.
Township space available – If you would like to conduct a class, if you have an event idea or if you have a group that would like to meet in an indoor space, you can use the township hall during library hours for free if it is coordinated through the library. Contact Jennifer Wood with any questions.
As always, black-and-white copies are available for 25 cents. Free Wi-Fi and computer access is also available.
