The quarterly meeting of Alger County Communities That Care, or AC3, is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 15.

Officer David Dyer, a student resource officer in Alger County, is the spotlight speaker.

AC3 is recruiting additional members for its work groups: Funding (led by Kappy Laing), Data/Resource (Linda Remsburg), Youth (Marjorie Moore), PR/Maintenance (Sandy Ehlert) and Adult Needs/Suicide Awareness (Kris Lindquist).

The organization’s second- quarter meeting is scheduled for April 15.
