The Munising Memorial Hospital/Dr. Donald and Alice Fahrbach Scholarship is a $1,500 award that will be given to an Alger County graduating senior pursuing a career in health care.
The scholarship was established through funds donated by the Dr. Donald and Alice Fahrbach Trust, ensuring all students, regardless of GPA, have the opportunity to apply. Additional funding comes from dues paid by the Munising Memorial Hospital Association.
Applications are available at munisingmemorial.org/mmha. At the bottom of the page, there is a button labeled “Munising Memorial Hospital Scholarship,” where students can download the PDF application. Alternatively, they can request an application by emailing rbergamasco@mmhos.org.
Applications must be received or postmarked by April 1.
To support the scholarship’s longevity, the hospital has launched a donation page on its website, allowing contributors to donate specifically to the scholarship fund or make general contributions.
