Josh Curtis from Chatham Troop 364 earned the Eagle Scout rank on May 4. His Eagle Scout project was building birdhouses for MSU Extension in Chatham to help bring bird diversity to the area and bring beneficial birds back to the farm. He is pictured with the Eagle board, from left: Kevin Corkin, Caleb Gordon, Josh Curtis, Rick Bowerman, Michele Curtis (Josh’s mom and Troop Committee chair for Chatham Troop 364), Vikki Beltz, Mike Beltz and Dave Horne. Curtis is the first Scout in the district to become an Eagle Scout since the U.P. Scouts merged with the Michigan Crossroads Council in January. Courtesy of Chatham Troop 364
