MUNISING’S NEW LADDER TRUCK: The Munising Fire Department has added a new ladder truck to its fleet, replacing a decades-old rig with a more modern and capable apparatus that will serve as the department’s No. 2 response vehicle. Fire Chief Ryan “Red” Anderson, left, said the 1999 Spartan truck features a 65-foot ladder and a modern compressed air foam system unit.
