Harold C. “Jack” Boaz, PhD who split his time between AuTrain, MI and Benson, AZ, died on May 11, 2023 after complications from a nine week battle with the hospital from a serious fall. Services will be held at the Bowerman Funeral Home in Munising on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

Visiting time with family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Services celebrating Harold’s life will begin with military honors conducted by the American Legion, Vietnam Veterans and U.S. Marine Corps League Honor Guards. The Grand Island Masonic Lodge will conduct Masonic Rites following the veterans. There will then be an opportunity for friends and family members to share their stories and memories.
