David C. Jordan, 87, of Munising passed away peacefully, with his daughter by his side, on March 23, 2025. He was born on May 18, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan.

David was an accomplished and proud Eagle Scout who loved camping and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors. He was a skilled mechanic, working for many years on small engine recreational vehicle repair.

He enjoyed life to the fullest and had a passion for racing cars and snowmobiles. David had a heart of gold and was always taking people under his wing. For many he was a mentor, a counselor and a role model. David will be deeply missed.

David is survived by his daughter, Jody Jordan (Eric Dziczek) of Lapeer, and many nieces and nephews that he had a special bond with. A special “thank you” to Samantha for her loving care and support.

David was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Joyce Jordan, who passed away on Sept. 7, 2007; his parents, John and Merhl Jordan; two brothers and two sisters; nephew Mark Jones; brother-in-law Richard Jones; and many wonderful friends.

Friends may visit on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors–Capstick Chapel in Lapeer.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lynch & Sons with an hour of visiting prior. David will be laid to rest at Stiles Cemetery in Lapeer. A luncheon will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tunnel To Towers.
