Did you ever think about writing a concise history of America from God’s perspective?

I have, and it’s centered on what’s known as our three Great Awakenings. Awakenings to what? To Jesus Christ’s death on the cross in our place, and His resurrection from the dead.

The Pilgrims and Puritans came to America 400 years ago to escape from the dictates of King George and the Church of England, which I think you could say was the socialist government of England, and to raise their children with Freedom of Religion.

As those revival fires began to die out, along came the preachers George Whitfield and John Wesley and others in the mid 1700’s, preaching Christ thousands of times, and that YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. Out of that Great Awakening, America’s founders wrote the very bold spiritual Declaration of Independence, and then we fought the Revolutionary War against the most powerful military on earth, and won, with supernatural help. And then they wrote the Constitution, describing how to Live Free. WOW.

NowIwanttomajorontwo words in our Declaration; the words, UNALIENABLE RIGHTS. First, I quote from that Declaration, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain Unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. To secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Our government is “we the people.”

I googled UNALIENABLE: That which cannot be given away or taken away.

The first Unalienable Right given by our Creator, AND listed first in our Declaration, AND which our Constitution protects, is Life. From God’s perspective, Life begins at conception. I believe you will see this for yourself if you read Luke chapter 1, especially verses 39-45, and especially at this Christmas season.

Lets skip down to the present and the third and final Great Awakening, just before Jesus returns. It has begun with the Youth Revival, which, God told Minister Dutch Sheets, will not be stopped.
