Frank Carlson, a junior at Munising Middle/High School, has been chosen as the week’s Student of the Week. He is the son of Melissa and Pete Carlson. Mrs. Ludecke chose Franks and stated, “Frank always has a great attitude and contributes to class discussions and activities. He is helpful and kind to everyone he meets. Franks is a

selfless, caring and hardworking

young man.” Franks is in Cross Country, tennis, the National Honor Society, and is in Boy Scouts, where he is working on earning his Eagle Scout this year. He also spends his summers working for the Youth Conservation Corps though the park service and enjoys snowboarding in the winter.

Frank plans on attending college after high school, hopefully to work for the Department of Natural Resources.
