Rock River Township Library notes

This month at the library, story time will be the first Wednesday only. We will begin with 20 minutes of free play, then a story, singing and moving and end with more free play and open-ended crafts. Geared toward preschool, but siblings are welcome. Caregivers must attend as well.
“Play My Way!”: We will meet in the township hall on Wednesday, Dec. 14, for a free community play space — out of the elements. All ages welcome. Kids are welcome to explore toys, games and crafts freely. Bring your own toys, crafts and games to share for the day.
Paper bag star craft, Saturday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m.: All ages welcome to attend! Join us at the library for a holiday craft. These large stars are a beautiful addition to your winter decor! Simple and elegant.
Mystery Book Club, Saturday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m.: This month we will chat about “The Mysterious Mr. Quin” by Agatha Christie. We read an entire book each month, so no need to have attended prior meetings.
The Rock River Township Library will be closed December 21 and 24 so Beth and I can spend time with family celebrating the season. There will be no box delivery from the Munising School Public Library on the 21, so please plan accordingly. Black and white copies are 25 cents. Free Wi-Fi and computer access is also available.
