Cogger, Beaupied honored by SC

Two Superior Central staff members were honored by the school staff and community for their efforts in the 2022-23 school year.

Jacob Cogger was the recipient of the Innovator of the Year award. His efforts have revitalized the shop program for SC students, showcasing an impressive range of initiatives, including 3D printing, constructing a bell tower for the historic school bell, collaborating with Habitat for Humanity, and utilizing locally sourced materials. Cogger’s contributions have been instrumental in nurturing a passion for trades among our students.

Erin Beaupied received the ABC (An Above and Beyond Candidate) award. Her performance was not limited to being only the school’s social worker, as she willingly takes on additional responsibilities such as discipline, scheduling, and spearheading the beloved Coffee Fridays for staff, all while maintaining a positive attitude.
