In the closest finish ever for western Alger County’s only running race, Christopher Russelburg beat out Ekagra Agarwal by 0.01 seconds for the overall title. The pair had over a 2:24 lead over third-overall Kyle Hoffner.

Dozens of runners and walkers competed across the 3.1-mile course leading through Chatham and onto the Michigan State University south farm before circling back to the start finish line at Peoples State Bank. The race is sponsored and organized by the Chatham Lions Club.
