The Munising Baptist volleyball team had a road Northern Lights League contest at Paradise on Monday, September 30. The Lady Bobcats dropped the game in straight sets however, 25-12, 25-12 and 25-6.
The unique venue may have had a hand in Munising Baptist’s setback as well.
“The girls struggled to play in a different environment,” co-head coach Ashley LaFlamme said. “The court is a lot smaller than we are used to and it rattled the girls quite a bit. It was an off game for us but we are trying to move forward and try harder to adjust to any type of court.”
The coach also took the time to note some positives to come out of the match.
“Sarina Mozader did a good job moving her feet and hustling,” LaFlamme said.
M-B was at home against Big Bay de Noc on Monday, played at Hannahville on Tuesday and hosts Ojibwe on Tuesday, October 15 in a doubleheader.
