What’s up with my eye?

Q: I woke up yesterday morning, after a normal night’s sleep, with a bright red spot on the inner portion of the white of my left eye. It isn’t at all painful and I wouldn’t have even known it was there, but my wife noticed it and asked me if I had somehow injured it. I hadn’t. My vision seems fine, the red spot is still about the same size, and there’s still no pain. Should I be concerned?

Tale Spinners Storytime is Monday

Tale Spinners Storytime meets at 10:30 a.m. this coming Monday for stories, songs and more. This week’s program will be hosted by Head Start and is for preschool-aged children and their caregivers. We are excited to see you and your little one for this fun and educational half hour of stories.

City of Munising powers up

Alger law enforcement is a network of collaboration

Like much of the Upper Peninsula, Alger County is a place of incredible natural beauty, home to attractions such as Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Laughing Whitefish Falls. With a population of nearly 9,000 people as well as 5,048 square miles of land, the county is served by a diverse group of law enforcement agencies that work hard to coordinate efforts to keep both residents and visitors safe.
