The Superior Central softball team had a great opening week to the season. The Lady Cougars won all six of their games by mercy, including Friday sweep at Gwinn; 25-2 and 25-7. In game one, the Cougars were able to plate 13 runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back, highlighted by Kiera McDonald hitting an inside the park home run.

The Munising golf teams have a good number of members on their teams. They’ll be led once again by longtime coach Bette Immel, who has been getting the Mustangs ready for the season, despite having limited time on the course.

Come cheer on your favorite class of 2024 senior or your favorite law enforcement officer or just come watch some cheap entertainment! This game is always entertaining and this year we may have some half time raffles that will allow you to possibly pie someone in the face! We will update more as this event gets closer. Entrance will be by donation and all proceeds go to this years Senior all night party to be held Saturday May 25.

Ben Murphy The Superior Central baseball team went 7-17 last year. Greg Mannisto, who enters his second year as head coach of the team admits that wasn’t quite what he was hoping for.
