Munising School Public Library notes

The library’s book club, Alger Reads, is in full swing with the start of the new year. It meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the library. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, February 28 at 6:00 pm and we will be discussing the book The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune. It’s a bestselling contemporary fantasy story from the Lambda Literary Award winning author. Request to hold your copy now so you can read it before our next meeting. PFN, downstate WINN set to merge

Peninsula Fiber Network, LLC (PFN) and WINN Communications announced today an agreement that will see the two companies merging, pending regulatory approvals. PFN is a leading provider of fiber optic-based telecommunications and Next Generation 9-11 services throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, and parts of Minnesota and includes overlaps with numerous more local groups like the Muninsingbased Hiawatha Communications. WINN Communications is an established telecommunications firm operating a fiber optic network in central Michigan with its headquarters in Mount Pleasant.
