Faith with Enoch

Enoch is an interesting person to study in the Bible. He is first mentioned in Genesis 5 as the great-greatgreat- great grandson of Adam and the great-grandfather of Noah. Enoch is the father of Methuselah who is best known for being the oldest recorded human at 969 years. Enoch lived to be 365 years old, and we are told from both Genesis 5:24 and Hebrews 11:5 that, Enoch walked with God and then was no more.

Eastern U.P. man arrested for terrorist threats

Seann Pietela, a 19-year-old resident of Pickford, Mich., has been charged in a criminal complaint for transmitting a communication that contained a threat to cause harm to another individual. According to the details outlined in the complaint, Pietela engaged in communication on Instagram with various individuals, where he allegedly expressed a neo-Nazi ideology, demonstrated antisemitism, glorified past mass shooters, and expressed a desire and intent to emulate their actions or carry out mass casualty events.

Mather playground demolition begins

Brice Burge The dismantling of the wooden Mather Elementary playground has begun, with some of the slides and bridges already down by the time this photo was taken on Tuesday, June 20. A community pick up for pieces of the old playground will be available on Friday, June 23 from 9 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m-3 p.m..
