With the May 7 federal REAL ID deadline fast approaching that will require compliant identification to fly in the United States, Michigan Secretary of State offices offer a fast and easy way for customers to upgrade their driver’s license or ID. Despite the heavier volume throughout the state, most customers are still in and out of the office in 20 minutes or less.

The Munising City Commission took action this month on several notable items with lasting community impact, including major grant-supported infrastructure projects, fire department upgrades and the formal approval of a new greenhouse operation downtown.
