The event, held on Monday, May 13th, at East Channel Brewing’s The Connection, marked a joyous occasion where Chamber members and local businesses gathered to celebrate.

The Munising track and field teams served as hosts to their annual Under the Lights event on Friday. More than 13 teams took part in the event, with the Mustang boys placing fifth and the girls were ninth. Superior Central was also in attendance, but did not tally any team points.

The Pictured Rocks Cruises has already begun their new season. The popular tourist destination in Munising opened for the year on Saturday, and according to operations manager Keegan Nebel, things are off to a great start. “We had about 500 people show up on opening day, which is very good,” he said. “We are excited to get back to it and hopefully have a busy summer.”
