Last Saturday, the MBS Elementary Basketball team, known as the Junior Bobcats, embarked on an excursion to Mackinac Island for a full day of basketball competition. In the captivating images captured during the event, the Bobcats faced off against the Paradise Rockets in a thrilling match. The Munising City Commission held a scheduled meeting on April 15, 2024 at the City Hall. All but one Commissioner were present and nine residents attended. Several new business actions were taken. The appointment of Robin Pavase and DJ Raica to the Planning Commission was approved as was the proposed License Agreement for the Fourth of July committee. There was a presentation on the upcoming Earth Fest events to be held at Munising School Public Library beginning April 20 at 10:30 a.m.
