Todd Spranger takes over Superior Central football program
The winds of change are certainly blowing around the Superior Central football program. After going 1-7 in 2022 and 0-9 in 2023, the Cougars have opted to play as a junior varsity team during the upcoming 2024 season. They’ll also do so under a new head coach; Todd Spranger.

Ludy & Johns: Two Munising Residents Share Their Journey into the Michigan National Guard
At an Oath of Enlistment Ceremony, Ervin Ludy and Robert Johns took the next step in their journey with the Michigan Army National Guard. Both young men are from the Munising area and gathered at the Detroit Military Entrance Processing Station to formally begin their careers, having initially enlisted on March 5, 2024 and November 21, 2023, respectively.
