Marilyn T. Cook, age 89, of Munising died Sunday evening, Feb. 9, 2025, at the Corinthian Assisted Living Place in Gilbert, Arizona.

The Munising golf team hosted its annual invitational on Friday at Pictured Rocks Golf Course. Carney-Nadeau won the girls side with an 18-hole score of 414, while the host Mustangs took third overall with a score of 466.
After going winless in its first week of action, the Munising boys tennis started Week 2 with a victory. The Mustangs defeated host Gwinn on May 6 with a 6-1 score.

James “Jim” Gerald Casey, age 79, of Munising passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, April 26, 2025, at his home under the loving care of his wife and North Woods Hospice following a lengthy illness.
